Service and food is great, Nice to sit and enjoy eating a great breakfast will be back again... Highly recommend.
Quaint little place in downtown Angels. Delicious breakfast and really nice people. Stop in when you are in town. You'll be happy you did!
Breakfast was delicious - portions are more than generous. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. Would definitely go back. Try the sausage gravy!
Nice little place. Hood food. We had breakfast there.
Delicious breakfast, nice staff👍
This is a great little place to eat, we had breakfast. I had the loaded Chuckwagon and it was great, kept me full most of the day. The waitress was real nice and helpful, lots of fun to talk with.
Small cute little place with a simple menu for breakfast and lunch. Food was fresh and the service was Excellent! Very friendly.
U love a good local joint and the one had a dry-sense-of-humor propieter who added to the charm of thus little place. The food was solid although the portions were a little smaller than I'd expected. But it's a great little eatery!
Just regular cafe to have brunch. Reasoanble quality for the price.
Good food in an old town in the hills. Their bacon is great, biscuits I'm sure are homemade and gravy with plenty of sausage is very good.
Good food not gourmet quality but good taste and plenty of it.
We stopped here today on our way to Yosemite. The food, coffee, dining experience, etc. was 10 out of 10! They were very hospitable, food was amazing (and I'm very picky when it comes to food). I highly recommend this place!
Great quality food, reasonable prices, friendly staff, who could ask for more!
Amazing Breakfast! Prompt, friendly, and the sausage gravy was to die for! Omlettes and breakfast bowls were huge! We will go back.
The service was ok.. One person was very nice and the other was pretty cold and seemed like maybe she didn't like customer service. That aside. The food is fresh and the chef is awesome. You can smell them making your food and it feels special because that's just your plate. Its not the same thing as the person next to you... It literally is home cooking at a restaurant. The biscuits were mind blowing. The gravy wasn't my favorite but the home made biscuits made it delicious. The omelette was great and the hash browns were perfect! Little crunch but not burnt. Love it.
Excellent breakfast. Just wish I could have tried the famous bacon jam. (It was on the menu but they were out of it.)
I celebrated my graduation last night in this gorgeous place. I am glad to say that we had a outstanding evening and the venue was absolutely one of the reasons for the happy gathering. The team participated in a gorgeous way, the meals were extremely good and my buddies were so delighted. We shall absolutely return for more celebrations. thanks very much.
Excellent gravy! Service is great especially for young children. They will pretty much make whatever the kids want. I recommend the loaded chuck wagon - it's excellent!
Great breakfast. Maybe the best I've ever had at a restaurant. The service was very slow though. Took about 30mins to get my food. But it's worth the wait if you have the time.
I call this unique place many times since I enjoy the ambiance that is part of this place. The crew is very helpful and experienced. The service is very quick. Needless to say, the food they cook is highly distinguished. I ate there often and I was never disappointed. The price is modest. I suggest this place to to everybody.
We came by this town from Yosemite Valley en route to South Lake Tahoe. This restaurant was a good place to have a meal. The service was very fast and the meals we ordered were delicious.
I had the chicken fried steak the gravy tasted like it was processed.
As a breakfast connoisseur I must sat this was the best breakfast I have ever had the portions are generous. The owner, Denver , is the cook and hostess. You could not ask for a better contry feel.
Food is just ok
Omelet was good. Serve fast and friendly. Location 📍 great, price reasonable. Small HISTORICAL place, might be busy.... Since visited the first time, I come here a few more times. Still enjoying each visit.
Rude server, expensive... got up and left.
Not worth it. If nothing else is open it's ok, but the food wasn't special. It felt like the chef either was too busy or didn't care. Small portions and bland tasting.
Best breakfast I've ever had. Biscuits and gravy were stellar. Can't wait to visit again.
Good French toast. Very cozy little place that seems to be staffed by three people! Not good for a quick bite, but if you aren't in a hurry it's a nice little cafe to stop into.
Food is okay...not big on ambiance
The gravy is amazing. The waffle was light and fluffy. Customer service was friendly.
Servers were friendly. Food was delicious. Would definitely refer others here as a must eat for breakfast.
An off-pace sort if atmosphere that's down home in all the right ways. Fun selection of foods (although the portions were smaller than expected) and good flavors. A solid option.
It's that good old small town restaurant, that gives those good old fashion vibes. You know that homey feeling. A happy place. hope whoever goes there injoys it like I did.🤗☺️🌞
For the price of great food.. Thank you for your service.
Outstanding service even though packed with customers. Interesting menu. I had a buffalo chicken soup that was hearty and spicy. Perfect for a cold winter day. Waiter asked me to tell the cook personally so I went in the kitchen and delivered my compliment. The whole experience was happy and tasty. My niece is the mayor of this town...lucky girl. Great place.
I dropped in there a few months ago and what a surprise. Good homemade food and great service. I will definitely be returning to this cafe.
Good basic breakfast.
Excellent food and customer service. The sausage gravy... so good
Great breakfast! It's comical for a number of reasons. First, one of the waiters was there in the morning then working at the restaurant next door in the evening. If you've ever seen the Gilmore girls this was definitely like a Kirk situation. Homey atmosphere, decent food. Second, I wouldn't recommend to someone who is a clean freak as it's older and even though it was very clean there was a fly swatter available for guests to use. It's summer and in the country so flies are to be expected.
Nice cozy little place, Their large omelets are about $14, should fill up most people. Not gonna handle a large crowd though.
Broad selection of sandwiches for lunch. Pleasant and attentive service.
Great little cafe. All people welcome. Chef cares about guests. Made a special DELICIOUS salad to accommodate my need for gluten free. I will dine here again when I’m in the area.
Excellent food with excellent service! I usually take more pictures, but it smelled so good and I was so hungry..there was no time for pictures! I shared the huge breakfast burrito, and an egg sandwich, and devoured all of it! I was in massive amounts of pain for overstuffing myself, but it was well worth it! :-) **The dining room is extremely small, not suggested for parties over 4-6 people I would think. The bathroom is through the small house style kitchen and food is exposed to you passing by: I suggest not using, although it is very clean, as is the kitchen.
Delicious food, even better service. The cook noticed my son cut his finger with a pocket knife and came back out to give him a finger cover. Wait staff was very friendly as well. She gave us recommendations about nearby attractions. I would definitely go back
One of the least good breakfasts I've ever had at an American diner and one of the most expensive ones too. The steak was dry and blant you could only taste tons of black pepper they had poured over it. The salsa was out of a box. The coffee wasn't very good either and the service needs definitely some more friendliness.
Good breakfast in a cozy cafe.
Limited seating but friendly staff. Reasonably priced breakfast/lunch menu with the basic diner selections. Portions are generous and food is good.
Surprisingly very good... my expectations were very low and it was the only restaurant that allowed us to eat with our dog. It was a killer burger and the waiter/locals explained the town was famous for frog jumping competition that takes place every year. Mark Twain wrote about the town and they gave us advice to go to Mercer Caverns in Murphy’s Ranch. They called to make sure they were open and everything. Highly recommend. Everything was fresh and not dumped in a bucket of butter!
I gave 5 stars not because it is an upscale place but because it is an authentic Mom and Pop neighborhood cafe. Food is delicious with large portions. Real family feel to this place. Local hangout but welcomes out of towners.
